Paul, Jan and I did Orkney via bus tour. Unfortunately it was VERY rushed, and many of our photos happened through the bus windows, which is not ideal.
We would have liked more time to take photos, more time at Skara Brae, and very little/no time in Kirkwall, which was a total waste of time, but they stopped there for way over an hour (then again on the way back), because our "tour" bus was also a "commuter" bus. VERY disappointing, but such is life - we are grateful for everything we did get to see on a beautifully sunny day!
